Debbie is a leading operating advisor for many of the most successful PT/OT clinics in the US. Her specialty has led to the optimization of billing, patient management and sustainable growth for both single and multi-clinic practices. Debbie’s deep specialization emerged from her experience as a physical therapist in the outpatient setting for over 29 years and has utilized her therapy background to take her on many different career adventures.
Long, long ago, (in a galaxy far far away “::queue in Star Wars theme::” )
… Debbie was the Project Director, responsible for assisting in the creation and implementation of an outpatient therapy billing system for 150 physical therapy clinics nationwide and since then, she has had a special interest in EMR systems and how they could help the outpatient therapy industry. Debbie went on to co-own a multi-clinic outpatient practice and, in 2011, she started her physical therapy consulting business, Medkita (www.medkita.com), which is how the doTherapy creators tracked her down and recruited her to work with doTherapy. Debbie’s goal is to help outpatient therapy clinics provide the best patient care experience in the most efficient, compliant and profitable way and doTherapy helps her to reach that goal. In her spare time, Debbie enjoys spending time with her four daughters and five dogs.
